We are holding a community event on Sunday 18th July to celebrate the designation of The Hook as a Local Nature Reserve. We are starting with a picninc at 1pm followed by a guided walk from Nottinghamshire WIldlife Trust explaining the nature on the site and finally some community games.

We are currently seeking a new Chairman. Please contact us through this site or approach one of the committee if you are interested.

The Friends have a regular working party on the first Sunday of every month. The next working party is on Sunday 5th September at 2pm. Meet by the silt trap/reed bed. We plan to clear the silt trap and ditch, and attend to the community orchard. Please bring suitable clothing, sturdy footwear and bring your gardening gloves and tools. ALL WELCOME.
