The Hook is owned and maintained by Rushcliffe Borough Council, who employ a number of different contractors for operations around the site. In addition grant money acquired by Friends of The Hook has been used for specialist tasks, including pruning of orchard trees and maintenance of the wildlife pond. Also Nottingham Wildlife Trust provide valuable input into all aspects of wildlife conservation and enhancement of biodiversity.
