Cherry plum and blackthorn have both started to blossom on The Hook, and daffodils and lesser celandine can be found under the trees. These first signs of spring are a reminder that birds are starting their nesting season, and we need to take extra care over the coming months to protect them from disturbance. Signs have now gone up to remind people to keep dogs on leads through the conservation area.
