Otter Sightings on The River Trent
We have two confirmed sightings of an otter on the banks of the River Trent. Contractors working on preparations for the new cycle bridge have been doing wildlife surveys along the north and south banks to ensure that any wildlife is protected. They set up night vision cameras along the bank to monitor activity and gained clear footage of an adult otter on the bank. Then, earlier this week, an otter was filmed in the daytime coming out of the river and running along the steps of Victoria Embankment. So keep your eyes peeled!
